Identification

Here you can activate your University account or reset your password.

Please select one of the following methods of identification:

BankID

When you activate your university account using BankID, you will automatically receive the SWAMID AL2 assurance level, which is required to access certain systems.

Who can get a BankID

To get a BankID, you must have a Swedish personal identity number (yymmdd-xxxx), be a customer of one of the banks that issue BankID and be identified with a valid ID document. The issuing bank determine the age limit. Most commonly, you need to be either 13 or 18 years old. Under-age persons must always have parental consent.

Order BankID from your bank

Order BankID directly from your bank. The order differs slightly between different banks. Log in to your online bank and read more about how to order BankID at your bank.

Universityadmissions.se

If you don´t have a Swedish national identification number (your number contains a P, T or R-number) please choose One-time code in the next box.

If you have a Swedish national identification number (yymmdd-xxxx), you can activate your university account by using your verified account at Universityadmissions.se

You become a verified user by using the activation code sent from universityadmissions to your civic registration address.

eduID

If you have a Swedish national identification number (yymmdd-xxxx), you can activate your university account by using a verified account at eduID.se

You can verify your identity by creating a free eduID.se account and verify your identity with e.g. BankID or Freja+.

With this method your university account gets assurance level AL2 after activation and resetting your password.

One-time code

If you have received a one-time code (is mostly used by international students, students who lack a Swedish national identification number and distance students who are not registered of the authorities in Sweden) you can use it to identify yourself.

If you don´t have a one-time code or need a new code please visit Infocenter in Studenthuset (please bring a photo-id) or contact the student administration at your department and ask them to send you a code by email.
